
Gale was just 18 when was crowned the winner of a modeling contest at the age of 18 in Perth. After having been modeling for some time, Gale became famous in 1999, when she was chosen to appear as part of an advertising campaign from Omnitel, which has since become Vodafone Italy. She appeared in their advertising until. She was also retained with the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 as the 'advertisement face of Australia and Italy'. Gale appeared on the covers of Australian Marie Claire and Grazia. She has also appeared in Italian Maxim as well as Australian InStyle. Gale was included in editorials for Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia as well as Italian GQ. Gale is a runway performer for Milan Fashion Week for Mariella Marani and Angelo Marani as well as Gianfranco ferre, Genny & Gai Matiolo. Gale has also been a big fan of a variety of Australian designers, such as Colette Dinnigan Kirrily Johnston, Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry.
